Healthwise Massage Therapy was founded in 1998 by Carla Anderson, with a vision of creating a massage experience that would heal body, mind, and spirit.

I had a dream. I had never really heard of massage or had experienced massage therapy, but, I was led to believe that I needed to give the gift of my touch to others throught this amazing dream. Please understand, that as a young child, I was plagued with an enormous amount of warts on my hands. So much so, that no other child wanted to hold my hands during games or even play with me. One day, when I was 8 or 9, they all just disappeared to never return again! We do not know why. Obviously, god had a plan for me and here I am!

I have been a massage therapist since 1995. I graduated from Carlson College of Massage Therapy in Anamosa, IA. I also have an Associate of Arts in Accounting and I am also a Certified Home Inspector.

I am a Professional Member of the American Massage Therapy Association. I have been an Executive Board Member of the North Dakota Chapter since 1999. I received the AMTA-ND Chapter Meritorious Award in 2004. I have attended Massage Therapy Leadership training seminars in 2006-2007, National Conventions in 2009 and 2011. It was my dream to own my own business one day and to travel with that profession. I am doing what I love!

I have been married to my wonderful husband Kent since 1993. We are originally from the Devils Lake area, recently relocating to Bismarck in 2010. We have 3 amazing daughters: Kierra 12, Jenna 9, and Emma 7. In my spare time I like to ride my horses, scrapbook, garden and, volunteer as a 4-H Co-Leader.
